Dua Lipa’s Santiago Photo Dump Showcases a Military Jacket with a Modern Twist

Dua Lipa does not mess around with a photo dump! The songstress, who just wrapped up two nights in Santiago on her Radical Optimism tour, shared a behind-the-scenes perspective of her time spent in Chile —and, per usual, it was filled with style inspo. From swipe to swipe, she carried us into soundcheck, fan signings, event a wine tasting.

But her asymmetrical military jacket, which gets recycled in just about every other image, served as the main attraction. Designed by Angelica Montini, the Italian designer who works at the crossroads of fashion, art and architecture, it was customized for sharp paneling and strong shoulders to create a structural silhouette that provided a contemporary take on the style. An oversized chest pocket and chunky mock-neck collar contributed a playful interest, but the real star was its quirky statement horn buttons.

Being​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ quite on point with the whole army-green theme, she was relaxing against the couch and mixed the jewelry piece with a few chunky gold rings, a black mini skirt, a tan leather tote, and a pair of sunglasses. In one of the pictures, we could see a little bit of her shoes—strap-style Giuseppe Zanotti stilettos with gold orchid ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌decorations.

In​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ the meantime, Lipa was secretly photographed by Ludovic De Saint Sernin while she was wearing a glittering transparent top that looked like it was made of organza and was ruffled at the edges with silver embellishments. The singer tied the deep neckline with a bow to create a key-hole effect and she wore a simple black bralette underneath. She also had a mustard-yellow shoulder bag and a pair of eye-catching ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌earrings.
