Olivia Colman’s New Film ‘Cry Wolf’ Starts Toronto Shoot in February 2026

The Hollywood North scene is going to see the presence of two actresses who have won Academy Awards. Olivia Colman and Brie Larson are the latest to be cast for the upcoming FX thriller series ‘Cry Wolf,’ which is set to take place in Toronto as of February 2026. The series consists of six episodes and is done by the writer and producer Sarah Treem.

Olivia Colman has played the lead role in the comedy drama ‘The Roses,’ Sophie Hyde’s ‘Jimpa,’ adventure drama ‘Paddington in Peru’ and fantasy film ‘Wonka’. We also saw her play Chef Terry in ‘The Bear.’ Her next projects include the comedy drama ‘Wicker’ which is co-starring with Alexander Skarsgard and Peter Dinklage, and Netflix’s series adaptation of Jane Austen’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’, in which she will play Mrs. Bennet.

Brie​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Larson’s most recent feature film was her role as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the MCU movie ‘The Marvels.’ Prior to that, she was Tess in ‘Fast X.’ In TV shows, she was Elizabeth Zott in ‘Lessons in Chemistry,’ and Francie Fak in ‘The Bear.’ She additionally voiced Envy Adams in the Netflix animated series ‘Scott Pilgrim Takes Off.’ Apart from ‘Cry Wolf,’ we are going to see her in Jason Orley’s next comedy film ‘Close Personal Friends’ with Jack Quaid, Patti Harrison, and Lily ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌Collins.
